A delicious, easy to bake biscuit with a sage infusion. The polenta gives a lovely texture while the parmesan and sage infusion blend perfectly to create an aromatic savoury treat. These are perfect served as is, or used as base for a canape.
INGREDIENTS:
150g Cake flour
30g Polenta
120g grated Parmesan
10g Castor sugar
Pinch of salt
½ cup Olive oil
20g Sage leaves, some chopped and some whole
METHOD:
Preheat oven @ 150 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and mix.
Then add chopped sage & olive oil.
Shape the dough into small balls and flatten slightly.
Press a whole sage leaf onto the biscuit.
Arrange onto greased baking tray and chill in the fridge for an hour.
Bake for 15 -20 minutes or until lightly coloured.
Allow to cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer on to cooling rack.
